Export turnover increased by 4.3% in August
(BNP) - According to Department of Statistics, export turnover is estimated at USD 3,041.3 million in August, up 4.3% from the previous month and down 19.5% over the same month last year. Accumulated 8 months, total turnover is estimated at USD 20,638.2 million, up 1.1% over the same period.

Among which, private economic sector increased by 97%, FDI sector increased by 0.7%. Some major export items increased over the same period, such as: plastics; plastic products; wood and wood products; textiles; computers and components.
Total import turnover reached USD 3,045.3 million in August, up 8.3% over the previous month and 8.7% over the same month last year. Accumulation of 8 months, total import turnover is estimated at USD 18,678.4 million, up 5.6% over the same period last year.
