Full Moon Festival 2018 with title “Dream Moon”
(BNP) – Provincial Youth Union coordination with Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Education and Training, Provincial Radio and Television Station on September 15th held a program of Full Moon Festival 2018 with the title “Dream Moon” for children in the province at Kinh Bac Cultural Center (Bac Ninh city).
Provincial leaders celebrate the moon by eating traditional Mid-Autumn specialties with the children.
Attending the festival were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council; members of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Provincial People’s Council, Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations.
The Full Moon Festival program is an annual activity and has practical significance to enhance the interest of Party committees, government and society at all levels in the care and education work for the children, encouraging the children to study as well as actively preserve and promote the value of traditional culture.
With the title "Dream Moon", the program brought feature dragon dances, performance arts and fashion shows by young performers of cultural houses for children.
On this occasion, the provincial leaders awarded 80 gifts and scholarships to disadvantaged students overcoming difficulties in learning.
