Nearly 23,000 rural workers to recevie vocational training
(BNP) - In the period 2010 - 2020, Bac Ninh has supported agricultural vocational training for 22,841 rural workers, among which, 19,415 people have jobs after training, accounting for 85% of the total number of trained people; 13,919 female workers (accounting for 60.9%) and 762 workers from poor households (accounting for 3.3%).

The localities set up models of cultivation, livestock, concentrated commodity production areas, thereby creating favorable conditions for people to apply scientific and technical advances, bringing mechanization into production to create commodity products with higher economic value as well as contributing to increased income for farmers. With the support of vocational training, Bac Ninh has had more than 400 households whose apprenticeship has escaped poverty.
Departments, branches, sectors and localities organized more than 54,000 propaganda sessions for vocational training for rural workers to millions of participants. The total State budget to support agricultural vocational training for rural workers in the period 2010 - 2020 is VND 37.4 billion.
