Propaganda films celebrating 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory open
(BNP) - On the afternoon of April 15, the Provincial Cultural Center (Center) held the opening ceremony of propaganda films celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7,1954 - May 7, 2024) at Bac Ninh Teacher Training College (Bac Ninh city).

Delegates at the opening ceremony were leaders of the Center, Bac Ninh Teacher Training College, lecturers and numerous students of the college.
During the opening ceremony, the Center screened the documentary films "Dien Bien Phu" produced by the Central Documentary and Science Film Studio and “Nha Tien Tri” (The Prophecy) produced by the Vietnam Feature Film Studio.
"Dien Bien Phu" recreates historical events on the Dien Bien Phu battlefield, where the Vietnamese army and people battled valiantly and defeated the French colonialists. At the same time, it illustrates General Vo Nguyen Giap's pivotal role in the Dien Bien Phu victory, which not only brought independence to Indochina countries, but also encouraged the spirit of the national liberation movement around the world.
The performance wins a gold medal at the National Mobile Propaganda Contest celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.
"Nha Tien Tri" is set in the years of 1947-1950, when the country was in an extremely difficult and challenging situation. With a tightly structured story and interesting details, the film demonstrates Ho Chi Minh's strategic vision and ability to forecast historical events and the inevitable victory of the Vietnamese revolution. In particular, the film has presented the President in a very plain and friendly light.
On this occasion, the Center performed medal-winning performances at the National Mobile Propaganda Contest celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory in 2024, including the medley “Ho keo phao, Duong len phia truoc, Giai phong Dien Bien” (Artillery Pulling Chant, Way Up to the Front, Liberation of Dien Bien) won the Gold Medal; The performances consisting of “Noi lua len em” (Light up the fire), “Chung lap chien cong” (Let's achieve victory together), “Tieng rung” (The Voice of the forest) won Silver Medals, etc.

The films aim to widely propagate throughout the Party, people, and army about the meaning, stature, and great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, affirming that the correct and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh and the spirit of great national solidarity were the decisive factors in the victory of the resistance war against the French colonialists, thus arousing and promoting the tradition of patriotism and heroism in the cause of building and protecting the homeland; encouraging officials, party members and people from all walks of life to overcome difficulties, complete political goals and tasks in 2024, as well as emulate achievements to celebrate National day.
According to the plan, on this occasion, the Center will organize screenings: "Dien Bien Phu”, "Nha Tien Tri”, “Dong hanh cung lịch su” (Accompany history), “Tieu doi hoa hong” (Rose Squad) at the districts, towns, cities, agencies and schools in the province.
