Provincial leaders burn incense in memory of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet

(BNP) - On the occasion of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's 118th birthday (May 28, 1905 - 2023), a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies on May 28 burned incense at Monument of Hoang Quoc Viet Park (Vu Ninh Ward, Bac Ninh city).

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; members in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Permanent Provincial People's Council, the People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of departments, departments, branches, unions and Bac Ninh city.

The delegation respectfully offered incense in front of Comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's Monument - A dedicated communist soldier of the Vietnamese revolution and an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, the outstanding son of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac. They also expressed their profound thanks for all of his significant accomplishments and contributions to the Vietnamese revolution as well as his profound love for his native Bac Ninh.

The Party Committee, administration, and people of Bac Ninh province pledged to continue promoting the tradition of revolution, solidarity, and unification, to strengthen patriotic emulation activities, to complete goals and tasks, and to build Bac Ninh province into a richer, more beautiful, and civilized place.

Following the incense giving ritual, the delegation visited exhibition of documents and artifacts related to comrade Hoang Quoc Viet's revolutionary activities.
