Provincial leaders inspect agricultural production and natural disaster prevention in Yen Phong district

Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan inspects the drainage work at Vong Nguyet Pumping Station.

Tuan inspected the water drainage at Van Phuc sluice (Bac Ninh city) and Vong Nguyet pumping station, Tam Giang commune, Yen Phong district including 12 units with a capacity of 3,000 m3/hours. These are important works, responsible for water drainage for Yen Phong district.

He requested Bac Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Company Limited to regularly inspect and operate the works in accordance with regulations, ensuring water drainage in Yen Phong district.

He also assigned Yen Phong district to work with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to study and propose a plan to build Vong Nguyet 2 Pumping Station for serving the drainage of VSIP II and Yen Phong II-C Industrial Parks.

Also in the afternoon of the same day, Tuan visited Mr. Nguyen Van Tuyen's breeding facility, Ngo Xa village, Long Chau commune with the scale of 150-200 buffaloes.
