Secretary Dao Hong Lan inspects natural disaster prevention and control in Que Vo district

(BNP) - In the afternoon of July 7, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Dao Hong Lan inspected work of natural disaster prevention and control in Que Vo district.


Secretary Dao Hong Lan inspects the anti-waterlogging work at Han Quang Pumping Station.

Que Vo district has 69 km of dykes passing through, 39 sluices under the dyke, 16 embankments for shore protection and wave protection and 19 pumping stations for waterlogging. The district has soon implemented a disaster prevention plan to all units, communes and townships.

Directly inspecting the disaster prevention work at Que Vo dike management district and Han Quang pumping station, Lan highly appreciated the initiative of the Agriculture and Rural Development sector and Que Vo district in natural disaster prevention work.

Lan requested Que Vo district to focus on reviewing the disaster prevention plan and strengthening the inspection of disaster prevention and control work.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dao Hong Lan visited the cage fish farming model on Duong River of Mr. Truong Van Tai's household, Han Quang commune, Que Vo district.
