Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien meets and works with Command of First Military Region

(BNP) - In the afternoon of December 25, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly received and worked with the Command of the 1st Military Region led by Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Commander of the 1st Military Region.

Provincial leaders gives traditional products to Commander of the 1st Military Region.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien briefed on outstanding achievements of the province's socio-economic development over the past time to the delegation. In particular, there are many socio-economic development targets at the top of the country. Social security policies are focused and go ahead of the whole country; regularly pay attention to consolidating national defense, security, military, and rear-seat policies. These results have contributed and helped the 1st Military Region in leading and directing the construction of a strong and comprehensive provincial armed force, taking part in maintaining a stable environment for Bac Ninh to increase investment attraction.

In the coming time, the Secretary hoped that the Command of the 1st Military Region continues to pay attention and coordinate with Bac Ninh province to help the province well fulfill the tasks of local defense - military, contributing to the successful implementation of the province’s socio-economic development tasks.

Also at the meeting, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai expressed his impressions of the province's achievements in socio-economic development and highly appreciated the close combination of socio-economic development with the consolidation of national defense and security, building a solid provincial defense area. He further expressed his hope to continue to receive the support, coordination, and facilitation of the province so that the 1st Military Region and the provincial armed forces can better fulfill their assigned tasks.
