Tu Hung Football Tournament welcoming Spring - Bac Ninh 2024 opens

Attending the Opening Ceremony were Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Mr. Tran Van Tuy, former member of the Party Central Committee, former member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, former Head of the National Assembly Delegates Affairs Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; Mr. Park Noh Wan, former Korean Ambassador to Vietnam; representatives from Vietnam Football Federation; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities along with numerous football fans inside and outside the province.

The Tu Hung Football Tournament includes 4 teams: Bac Ninh FC, Hanoi Public Security Young, PVF Young, The Cong Viettel Young. This is the first official tournament of the Bac Ninh Football Club at home with the goal of creating opportunities for footballers and is an important momentum step before participating in the 2024 National Second Division Football Tournament, which will take place at the end of March 2024.

The opening ceremony took place vibrantly with lion and dragon dance performances and special performances. More than 5,000 seats in Tu Son City Stadium were filled by football fans.

Mr. Tran Van Tuy, and Mr. Park Hang Seo, senior advisor of Bac Ninh FC Club, attend the Opening Ceremony.

Previously, the tournament kicked off with the first round of matches between Hanoi Public Security Young and The Cong Viettel Young, ending in a 1-1 draw.

The second match of the tournament will take place on March 14 with 2 matches: The Cong Viettel Young and PVF Young, (at 3:00 p.m.); Hanoi Public Security Young and Bac Ninh FC (at 5:30 p.m.).
