(BNP) - Yen Viet communal house (Yen Viet village, Dong Cuu commune, Gia Binh district) was built in the Le Dynasty on a large scale to worship Poinsettia Great Tutor Le Van Thinh and General Doan Cong.

The communal house is located in the middle of the village, facing Southeast. The communal house has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter, including the Dai Bai building and the Hau cung.

In particular, Dai Bai has the architectural style of 3 compartments 2 lean-tons, 4 curved roofs.

At present, the communal house still preserves many ancient relics such as: 12 ordinations; 05 ancient steles; genealogy of the Nguyen Dynasty; literature of the Nguyen Dynasty; The throne of the Nguyen Dynasty… The village festival is held on the 11th day of the third lunar month every year.

To the left of the Dai Bai building is the national stele in recognition of the heroes and martyrs.

Today, the communal house is moved to the 7th day of the first lunar month, the rituals are organized more simply, more compactly, the people only conduct sacrifices at the communal house.


 

Yen Viet communal house has been ranked as a provincial historical and cultural relic according to Decision No. 955/QD-UBND dated 18/07/2010 of the Provincial People's Committee.
