(BNP) - The Ministry of Industry and Trade has requested the People's Committees of provinces and cities to strengthen the implementation of solutions to develop e-commerce, and support businesses, cooperatives, and household businesses in participating in the digital market.
Focus on supporting businesses, cooperatives, cooperative groups, business households, farmers, and OCOP entities in applying e-commerce in promoting, distributing, and selling their products.
Accordingly, localities need to review and update their e-commerce development plans in accordance with the National E-commerce Development Program for the period 2026-2030; integrate e-commerce development tasks with socio-economic development programs, digital transformation, trade promotion, and business support.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requires prioritizing e-commerce development in rural, mountainous, and remote areas; supporting businesses, cooperatives, household businesses, and OCOP entities in applying e-commerce in product promotion, distribution, and consumption.
Local authorities are encouraged to support the development of digital storefronts, standardize product information, and ensure traceability; Simultaneously, it is necessary to strengthen training in online sales skills, livestreaming, digital marketing, and order management.
In addition, it is necessary to develop logistics infrastructure, digital payments, and strengthen connections with e-commerce platforms, logistics companies, and modern distribution systems to expand the market for Vietnamese goods and OCOP products and promote cross-border e-commerce.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requests that the Departments of Industry and Trade in localities take the lead in developing specific implementation plans and periodically report the results to the Ministry for compilation and processing.
