(BNP) - On the occasion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, foreign localities with which Bac Ninh province has cooperative relations have sent congratulatory letters to the Party, State, and People of Vietnam.
Leaders of Bac Ninh province (Vietnam) and Gyeongsangbuk province (South Korea) at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on friendly cooperation between the two localities.
As of January 13, 2026, the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee had received congratulatory letters for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam from four foreign localities with friendly cooperative relations with the province: Xaysomboun Province and Hua Phan Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic); Chungcheongnam Province; and Seo District Government, Daejeon City (Republic of Korea).
In their congratulatory letters, foreign leaders praised the Communist Party of Vietnam's leadership role, recognizing Vietnam's great and historically significant achievements after 40 years of implementing the Doi Moi (Renovation) process, particularly in socioeconomic development, people's lives, political stability, and international integration.
Local authorities expressed confidence that the 14th National Congress would formulate important strategic decisions, ushering in a new phase of development, creating momentum for Vietnam's rapid and sustainable development, and successfully achieving the development goals by 2030 and the vision to 2045.
Foreigners also praised Vietnam's growing regional and international prominence and involvement. They also highlighted Bac Ninh province's positive successes in terms of socioeconomic growth, investment attraction, business environment enhancement, and international cooperation. Through this, these localities expressed their desire to continue strengthening friendly relations and practical, effective cooperation with Vietnam in general, and Bac Ninh province in particular, in the future, thereby contributing to the promotion of peace, stability, and sustainable development in the region and worldwide.
