(BNP) - On the morning of February 4th, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai visited and presented Tet gifts to meritorious individuals, the elderly, and poor households in Canh Thuy and Yen Dung wards.
Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai presents the President's congratulatory card for 100th birthday to Mrs. Nguy Thi Nhan, residing in Phung Hung residential area, Canh Thuy ward.
In Canh Thuy ward, Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai and the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to Mrs. Nguy Thi Nhan (100 years old), residing in Phung Hung residential area. The delegation also visited and encouraged Mr. Vu Van Dien (born in 1986), a poor household in Dong residential area, and Mrs. Khong Thi Oanh (born in 1942), a poor household in Tan My residential area.
In Yen Dung ward, the Secretary along with the delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to two exemplary individuals who have made significant contributions to the nation: Mr. Pham Quoc Huy (born in 1955), a 31% disabled veteran residing in Tan Do residential area, and Mr. Nguyen Anh Dai (born in 1948), a victim of Agent Orange residing in Long Truong Van residential area.
Secretary Thai cordially inquired about the health and well-being of policy beneficiary families and the elderly, expressing deep gratitude for their immense contributions. He affirmed that the Party Committee, government, and people of Bac Ninh province always cherish and remember the contributions of previous generations.

The Secretary requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to the full and timely implementation of social security policies; regularly understand the thoughts and aspirations of war veterans, the elderly, and poor households; and effectively implement sustainable poverty reduction programs and livelihood support initiatives, contributing to improving the lives of the people.

On this occasion, Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai presented gifts and wished the families a prosperous and happy Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse). At the same time, he hoped that the wounded soldiers and elderly would continue to be a source of spiritual support, educating their children and grandchildren to uphold revolutionary traditions, actively study and work, and contribute to building a more prosperous homeland. The Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Canh Thuy and Yen Dung wards also presented gifts to the families.
