(BNP) - On the afternoon of November 10, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Son attended the Great National Unity Day in Mai To village, Luc Ngan commune.

At the Festival, delegates and people of Mai To village reviewed the glorious 95-year tradition of the Vietnam National United Front (now the Vietnam Fatherland Front). Over the past years, Mai To village has achieved many comprehensive results in all fields. In 2025, the total income of the whole village reached more than VND 76 billion, the average income per capita reached 60 million VND per year, the poverty rate decreased to 1%, and the near-poor households to 2.8%.

The village has an area of ​​105 hectares, has 314 households, and 1,274 people; the village has 3 ethnic groups living together. The people in the village mainly do agriculture, developing fruit orchards. The lychee output is estimated at 300 tons, other fruit trees are nearly 300 tons, bringing in billions of dong in value each year. Besides agricultural production, people actively develop trade services, mechanics, transportation, and small-scale industry, contributing to economic restructuring, creating jobs and increasing stable income.

The movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" has been widely deployed, bringing about clear results. In 2025, the village had 240 households achieving the title of Cultural Family, reaching 100% of registered households; 99.8% of people participated in health insurance, 100% of school-age children went to school. In 2024 - 2025, the village was recognized as meeting the standards of "Security and order safety"...

Speaking at the Festival, Comrade Mai Son, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the outstanding results that Mai To village has achieved, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and efforts of cadres, party members and people.

He suggested that Mai To village focus on promoting the leadership role of the Party Cell, each cadre and Party member must set an example, be close to the grassroots, be close to the people, understand the people to promptly resolve arising problems.

He expressed his belief that with the tradition of solidarity, diligence, creativity and will to rise up, the cadres and people of Mai To village will continue to achieve many new results, contributing to building Luc Ngan commune and Bac Ninh province to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.

On this occasion, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to the Mai To Village Front Work Committee for its outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in the period of 2024 - 2025 and presented the village with a picture of Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton. The "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Bac Ninh province presented gifts to 03 poor households in the village (each household 1 warm blanket and 1 million VND/household), contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual love in the community.
