Tien Luc relic complex is a unique religious architectural complex, associated with the rich history and spiritual life of the community. The complex includes Phuc Quang pagoda, Tien Luc temple, Thuan Hoa communal house, Vien Son communal house and a thousand-year-old Da huong tree which was conferred the title "Quoc Chua Do Moc Da Dai Vuong" by King Le Canh Hung. With its outstanding historical, cultural and architectural values, the Prime Minister has ranked Tien Luc relic complex as a special National Monument.

Over time, many works in the complex have deteriorated. With the consent of the functional sector, Tien Luc commune has mobilized about 30 billion VND from the social sector to renovate and embellish. Currently, the Vien Son communal house project - part of the 2025 renovation plan - has basically completed the main items. The locality and the investor are developing a plan to renovate the next items such as the traditional house, the landscape in the area of the Wild Saffron tree...

Through the inspection, Mai Son acknowledged the activeness of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Tien Luc commune government and the construction unit in speeding up the progress of the restoration of relic items. He emphasized that relics are valuable cultural assets; all restoration and embellishment activities must strictly comply with the principle of conservation, maximally preserving the original elements, and not distorting the historical and artistic value of the project. He requested that the process of preparing documents and proposing investment in the next items must ensure scientific basis, in accordance with the procedures under the Law on Cultural Heritage; and at the same time, transparency in the total investment, socialization rate and support level from the State budget.

The Standing Vice Chairman noted that, along with restoring ancient architecture, the locality needs to pay attention to upgrading essential infrastructure systems at relics such as lighting, fire prevention and fighting, sanitation facilities, signposts, etc., ensuring safe operations and meeting the needs of the people and tourists.

Next, Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son inspected the Hoanh Mo pagoda archaeological site in Hoanh Son village (Lang Giang commune). In 2024, from the 200 m² excavation pit, the specialized unit collected nearly 1,300 relics including bricks, tiles, glazed ceramics, porcelain, statues..., dating from the Tran to Nguyen dynasties. Implementing the direction of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Museum coordinated with the Institute of Archaeology to continue to expand the excavation. In this area, many foundation relics and architectural courtyards from the Tran, Le Trung Hung and Nguyen dynasties were discovered.

Standing Vice Chairman Mai Son highly appreciates the scientific value of archaeological discoveries at the Hoanh Mo pagoda archaeological site, Hoanh Son village (Lang Giang commune).

The results show that Hoanh Mo Pagoda was once a large-scale architectural work with a clear structure, bearing typical values of the architectural art of the Tran Dynasty. This discovery contributes to affirming that Bac Ninh is an important land in the process of formation and development of Truc Lam Yen Tu Buddhism, and at the same time is a place with many historical - cultural - military values associated with the Dai Viet nation.

Appreciating the scientific value of the relics, comrade Mai Son assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant agencies to continue in-depth research, complete archaeological records; develop specific proposals on plans for expanded excavation and overall preservation of the relics; and at the same time study plans for display and introduction to promote the value of relics and artifacts associated with tourism development.
