Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan visits and extends New Year greetings at Dai Giap Pagoda

(BNP) - On the morning of February 6th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan visited and extended New Year greetings to Venerable Thich Thien Van, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Buddhist Association, and other religious dignitaries at Dai Giap Pagoda, Tan Dinh commune.

Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan and his delegation visit and present gifts to Venerable Thich Thien Van and other religious dignitaries at Dai Giap Pagoda.

During the visit, Vice Chairman Tuan apprised Venerable Thich Thien Van about the province's excellent achievements in socioeconomic development by 2025. He emphasized that these accomplishments were the result of the entire political system and the province's people working together, including the active contributions of Venerable Thich Thien Van and the Vietnam Buddhist Association's community of monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers.

He hoped that the Venerable Abbot, religious dignitaries, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers would continue to work alongside Party committees and authorities at all levels in caring for the spiritual lives of the people; actively propagate and encourage Buddhist followers to strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; contribute to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, and successfully implement the province's socio-economic development tasks, especially the important political tasks ahead.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Vice Chairman extended New Year greetings to the Venerable Thich Thien Van and all esteemed monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers, wishing them good health, peace, and fulfillment in their Buddhist endeavors. He also expressed gratitude to the Venerable Thich Thien Van for his continued care, companionship, and support for the province over the past period.
