2025 National Second Division Football Championship starts from April 11 to June 22

(BNP) - The 2025 National Second Division Football Championship will start from April 11 to June 22. The first leg will start from April 11 to May 13, 2025; the second leg will open from May 21 to June 22, 2025.

This year’s tournament has the participation of 15 football teams across the country (an increase of one team compared to the 2024 season), including: Hanoi FC Youth, Bac Ninh FC, Phu Tho Club, PVF, PVF-CAND Youth, Quang Ninh FC, Hoai Duc FC, Dak Lak Club, Gia Dinh FC, Kon Tum Club, Lam Dong, Tay Ninh, SHB Da Nang Youth, Vinh Long Club and Van Hien University.

On March 17, the Vietnam Football Federation held a draw ceremony to schedule the 2025 National Second Division Football Championship. According to the draw results, group A includes: Hanoi Youth FC, Hoai Duc FC, PVF-CAND Youth, PVF, Phu Tho Club, Bac Ninh FC, Quang Ninh FC.

Group B includes: Kon Tum Club, SHB Da Nang Youth, Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long Club, Gia Dinh FC, Van Hien University.

The teams will compete in a home and away round robin to determine the champion and four teams promoted to the First Division. This is a tournament within the National non-professional football system organized annually by the Vietnam Football Federation.
