Attraction of FDI capital increases by 1.7 times

(BNP) - In the first 4 months of 2021, the attraction of foreign direct investment (FDI) decreased in the number of enterprises, but the total registered capital was 1.7 times compared with same period of last year.

The enterprises investing in Bac Ninh province are mainly the ones of industrial production, trade and transportation, accounting for 71.1%, 23.7% and 5.2%, respectively.

From January 1, 2021 to April 20, 2021, Bac Ninh granted 38 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of USD 259.6 million; adjusted capital for 26 projects with an increase of USD 37.8 million.

In April, Bac Ninh newly registered investment for 09 projects with a total registered investment capital of USD 17.2 million; adjusted capital for 08 projects with an increase of USD 49.3 million.

Accumulated to April 20, 2021, Bac Ninh had 1,658 valid projects with total registered investment capital after adjusting and contributing capital to buy and buy shares, capital contribution reached USD 20,049.4 million.
