Award Vingroup scholarships in 2018 – 2019 school year

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of some relevant departments and representative of the Charitable Heart Foundation, Vingroup.

The Provincial Red Cross Association and the Charitable Heart Foundation have implemented the “Vingroup Scholarship Foundation” since 2017 with the aim of bringing about the sustainable and practical effect to the poor students. In the 2017 - 2018 school year, the Foundation donated 37 pupils and 4 students in needs with an amount of VND 180 million. In particular, the pupils are entitled to a subsidy of 500 thousand VND per month, students will be supported by the payment of tuition fee each semester.

At the ceremony, the two units awarded 87 scholarships worthy nearly VND 400 million to poor pupils to enter the 2018-2019 school year. This is a deeply humanistic expression, showing the concern of the Party committees and authorities, the contribution of agencies, socio-political organizations, and enterprises, especially is the companion of the Charitable Heart Foundation for poor and studious students. These timely supports have given them great motivation to continue further efforts in their studying and life.
