Bac Ninh athlete breaks 2 national records at 2024 National Weightlifting Championship
(BNP) - The 2024 National Weightlifting Championship took place from September 26 to October 4 in Dak Lak province.
Bac Ninh ranks 2nd of the whole team at the 2024 National Weightlifting Championship.
The tournament gathered 211 athletes from 29 provinces, cities and sectors, competing in 10 men's weight categories (55 kg to over 109 kg) and 10 women's weight categories (45 kg to over 87 kg).
The Bac Ninh Weightlifting Team sent 17 athletes and won 12 medals, including: 9 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal, ranking 2nd of the whole team. In particular, athlete Nguyen Thi Thuy of Bac Ninh excellently broke 2 national records in the women's 76kg weight categories, including: Clean and Jerk record of 115kg and total record of 207kg.
