Bac Ninh athlete wins silver medal at World Youth Karate Championship
(BNP) – The 2022 World Youth Karate Championship took place from October 26 to 30, in Turkey.

The tournament attracted 1,846 athletes from 105 countries and territories. They vied for medals available for different age groups and in both kumite (combat) and kata (performance)
Vietnam Karate team participated in the tournament with 12 athletes, won 1 Gold medal, 2 Silver medals, ranked 9/105 National. The only gold medal of Vietnam Karate belonged to athlete Nguyen Thi Dieu Ly, 53 kg class, Kumite content. 2 Silver medals belonged to athlete Nguyen Phuong Thao (Bac Ninh Karate team), 48 kg class, Kumite content; Athlete Nguyen Duc Anh, Kata content.
