Bac Ninh delegation visits and works with Vietnamese Embassy in Korea

(BNP) - On the afternoon of November 11, a Bac Ninh delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Korea Nguyen Vu Tung received and worked with the Bac Ninh delegation.

Expressing his pleasure to visit and work at the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan said that Bac Ninh province and the Embassy jointly organized a seminar on Korean business connection on November 9 to promote the province's investment environment to the Korean business community. Bac Ninh respected and highly appreciated the Embassy’s efforts, especially the Ambassador as a connector and also a son of his hometown Bac Ninh.

In the coming time, Tuan hoped that the Ambassador would continue to pay attention, support and create favorable conditions for the Bac Ninh people in Korea to live and work in peace. At the same time, the Ambassador acted as a bridge to promote and encourage Korean businesses to invest in Bac Ninh province; created conditions for opening trade relations for Korean products into Bac Ninh as well as Bac Ninh products into Korea, especially products of craft village and OCOP.

On the other hand, the Ambassador further assisted the province in carrying out information exchange activities and promoting unique cultural values, heritage sites and famous tourist destinations to Korean people. In the forth coming time, he needed to pay attention to promoting the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings so that the Korean people can support Bac Ninh in lobbying UNESCO to soon recognize it as an intangible cultural heritage in urgent need of human protection; boosting the implementation of the Vietnamese Village project in Bongwha district, etc., the Secretary added.

For his part, Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung expressed his impression and appreciation of the province’s recent potential and development. At the same time, he affirmed that in his position, he would actively promote and introduce the Bac Ninh’s image as well as connect Korean localities and businesses to visit and research the investment environment in the province.
