Bac Ninh fencing wins 4 medals at National Sports Congress
(BNP) - After 6 days of competition (from December 15 to 20), sport of fencing in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress ended at the Gymnasium of Nui Beo Coal Company (Quang Ninh).
Leaders of the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center reward athletes who won gold medals in Fencing.
Sport of Fencing attracted 134 athletes from 7 sports teams across the country. Athletes competed in men's and women's foil content; men's and women's épée content; men's and women's sabre content.
Bac Ninh delegation includes 14 athletes participating in the competition; set the target to win 1 Gold Medal. As a result, Bac Ninh Doan won 1 Gold Medal; 1 Silver Medal; 2 Bronze medals (exceeding the medal quota). In particular, the athletes including Xuan Thanh, Le Ba Long, Nguyen Tuan Anh Kiet and Nguyen Trung Kien won the Gold Medal in the men's sabre content.
