Bac Ninh organizes Book and Reading Culture Festival in 2024 themed "Reading: Unlocking Knowledge - Building the Future"

The plan aims to honor the value of books, affirm the role, position, and importance of books in social life, honor readers and those who participate in collecting, composing, publishing, printing, distributing, storing, and promoting books. Besides, it creates a cultural space, an intellectual and useful playground, and promotes the reading movement to become a daily activity in every family, agency, unit, and school. At the same time, the plan also propagates and implements Resolution No. 71-NQ/TU of the 20th Provincial Party Executive Committee on "Building and developing the culture and people of Bac Ninh until 2030 to meet the requirements of sustainable development".

With the theme "Reading: Unlocking Knowledge - Building the Future," the Festival takes place from April 11–13 at the Provincial Library with many rich activities: Displaying books and materials from the Provincial Library, bookstores, and publishers; Painting contest with the theme "I love Dien Bien soldiers"; library decoration competition; art book model arrangement with the theme " Dien Bien - Echoing the Epic Poem Forever”, etc.

Within the framework of the program, the organizing committee also organizes a contest to introduce books with the theme "Dien Bien - Echoing the Epic Poem Forever" as well as experiential activities such as introducing and telling stories about books, reading books with you, movie screenings, and folk games for students.
