Bac Ninh’s target to improve effectiveness of international economic integration, promote rapid and sustainable development
(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has issued a Plan to implement Resolution No. 93/NQ-CP dated July 5, 2023 of the Government on improving the effectiveness of international economic integration, promoting rapid and sustainable economic development in 2023 - 2030 period in Bac Ninh province.

The plan aims to proactively seize opportunities, improve and promote the process of international economic integration, and effectively exploit Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) of which Vietnam is a member; strengthen trade activities and connect supply and demand of goods to take advantage of favorable international conditions and legitimate external resources to promote rapid and sustainable socio-economic development of the province as well as in accordance with the orientation and goals.
To achieve the set goals, the PPC assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to act as the focal point, preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and related units implement administrative reform and improve economic institutions to create favorable conditions for people and enterprises; improve the business environment and enhance competitiveness; strengthen the implementation of trade promotion, investment promotion, tourism, brand building and development; develop e-commerce to enhance transaction, search and market expansion capabilities; encourage and attract foreign-invested enterprises to connect with enterprises in the province, thereby, contributing to the formation and development of supply chains.
Along with that, the Department of Industry and Trade effectively implement FTAs; clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the parties in developing and implementing economic development strategies, projects, and action programs; strengthen measures to remove difficulties and obstacles in terms of policies to develop domestic raw material sources to help enterprises meet rules of origin and better take advantage of opportunities brought from FTAs, especially new generation FTAs.
