Bac Ninh strives to have 70% of workers and laborers trained in first aid knowledge and skills

Organize first aid training in fire prevention, fighting, and rescue for civil defense forces in the province.

The plan aims to widely disseminate the meaning, role, and importance of first aid work to reduce injuries and the risk of death in traffic accidents, fires, drowning, workplace accidents, production, daily life, etc., thereby contributing to building a safe community. Furthermore, the majority of people are mobilized to participate in first aid training to get the necessary knowledge and skills, contributing to the safety and protection of people's lives and property.

By 2030, 50% of agencies and units in the province will be basically trained in knowledge and skills of first aid. For enterprises, 70% of workers and employees must be trained in knowledge and skills of first aid according to Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP; Circular 19/2016/TT-BYT.

Propaganda work will focus on the necessity, significance, role and importance of first aid in traffic accidents, fires, drowning, production and daily life; Party guidelines, State policies and laws on the rights and obligations of agencies, units, businesses and people in building a safe community, training and coaching on knowledge and skills of first aid; providing knowledge, skills and procedures of first aid to people.

To implement the proposed contents, the Provincial Red Cross Association presides over and coordinates with agencies and units to make a plan, implement and organize training courses on first aid knowledge and skills.

Agencies, departments, branches, organizations, units, schools, armed forces, enterprises, etc. in the province develop plans for propaganda, training, and coaching on first aid knowledge and skills every year;  determine specific targets and tasks, make a list of people registering for training and coaching of their units, and have a specific training and coaching schedule every quarter and year to send to the Provincial Red Cross Society. Units are encouraged to organize training and coaching in many sessions during the year on a small-medium scale, by commune cluster, industrial park, and each enterprise to facilitate the trainees.

The provincial public security and the provincial Red Cross Society develop and implement plans and organize training and coaching on knowledge and skills of first aid for traffic police, fire prevention and fighting, and rescue forces; disseminate, instruct and educate on laws, knowledge and measures, and skills of first aid; coordinate first aid drills in fire prevention and fighting, and build a movement for the whole population to participate in rescue and rescue in the area.

Bac Ninh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Bac Ninh Portal and the Provincial Red Cross promote propaganda on the necessity, significance and role of initial first aid in traffic accidents, fires, drowning, production and daily life, etc. and initial first aid activities for people in the community; honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the propaganda, training and coaching movement of first aid knowledge and skills.
