Bac Ninh wins gold medal in Pencak Silat at National Sports Congress

(BNP) - Pencak Silat in the program of the 9th National Sports Congress in 2022 ended after 10 days of competition from December 1 to 10, 2022, at Than Ha Lam Gymnasium (Quang Ninh province).

Pencak Silat attracted nearly 300 athletes (athletes) from 26 sports delegations to compete in the confrontation content. Of which, female athletes competed in weight classes from 50-75kg; Male athleted compete in weight classes from 50-110 kg.

Bac Ninh sent 3 athletes including 2 females and 1 male athlete to participate in the competition. As a result, Bac Ninh delegation excellently won 1 gold medal (completed the target). The only gold medal in Pencak Silat, 85kg class, belonged to athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen.

In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded 23 golds, 23 silvers and 46 bronze medals to athletes of the participating delegations.
