Delegation of cadres, lecturers and students of Academy of Journalism and Communication conducts field research in Bac Ninh province
(BNP) - On October 13, a delegation of cadres, lecturers of the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda and students of the state management class on journalism (delegation) led by Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Truong Giang, Deputy Director of the Academy had a meeting to study and exchange practical experiences in Bac Ninh province at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

At the meeting, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department briefed on the province’s economic, cultural and social development situation, especially the state management of the press. He affirmed that in recent years, press management activities have received special attention from local Party committees and authorities, helping press activities to take place effectively and in accordance with the law.

The students discussed current issues in press management such as: digital transformation in journalism; training human resources to meet the requirements of journalism in the new era; implementation of the speaking mechanism; solutions to retain readers and attract advertising in the digital age; experience in handling media crises in managing local press activities, etc.
Representatives from the Department of Information and Communications, the Bac Ninh Newspaper, and the Provincial Radio and Television Station exchanged and shared with the delegation some practical experiences and difficulties in press management in the locality. Through the working session, the Academy of Journalism and Communication and press agencies of Bac Ninh province have more opportunities to exchange and share experiences, contributing to training and fostering political and professional skills for the management team, improving the quality of press management activities in the coming time.
