Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha offers incense to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu
BNP) – On the 111th birthday of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu (July 9, 1912 - 2023), Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on July 9 offered incense and flowers at the Memorial House of General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu (Phu Khe ward, Tu Son city).

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of central ministries and branches; and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Permanent People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of the departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations of the province.
Born and raised in the strong cultural and revolutionary traditions of Bac Ninh, Comrade Nguyen Van Cu was quickly enlightened to the revolution, was admitted to the Indochina Communist Party in 1929, and became the Party's General Secretary in March 1938, at the age of 26.
He is an amazing communist soldier, an outstanding leader of the Vietnamese Party and revolution, and the person who managed the strategic adjustment that resulted in an important turning point in the Vietnamese revolution between 1938 and 1941. His book "Self-criticism" in particular encompassed significant ideological and theoretical concerns. on establishing and strengthening the Party, exhibiting erudite political thinking, and contributing to increasing our Party's theoretical wealth.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the delegation offered incense and flowers to paid their respects to General Secretary Nguyen Van Cu, the outstanding soldier of the Vietnamese revolution, a steady leader, and a creative, excellent son of Bac Ninh.
