General Director of Vietnam News Agency visits and works in Bac Ninh

Provincial leaders present a traditional handicraft product of Bac Ninh to the delegation

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Members; Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat, Standing Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; Mrs. Dao Hong Lan, Alternate Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee.

At the working session, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien briefed on remarkable achievements of the province after 20 years of re-establishment. Accordingly, Bac Ninh has not only succeeded in FDI attraction in various areas of service, hi-tech industry, but also actively applied scientific technologies in fields of production and breeding in the direction of clean agriculture for recent years. The socio-cultural area has made great progress with practical policies in line with people’s life situation. Bac Ninh is among provinces, where have well performed in preserving and promoting values of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, typically Quan ho folk songs.

Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien expressed his gratitude to VNA for its contributions to those achievements and hoped the News Agency to go on cooperating with the province to advertise and introduce land and people of Bac Ninh to friends all over the country and the world.

VNA General Director Nguyen Duc Loi thanked provincial leaders for the facilitation of Party Committee and authorities of Bac Ninh to working activities of reporters of VNA’s bureau in the province. With 60 media products, VNA is a media complex center in the role of an official news provider of the Party and State, VNA leader announced.

Boasting a network of 63 bureaus in all the cities and provinces nationwide and 30 overseas bureaus across the five continents, VNA General Director suggested Bac Ninh leaders to go on paying attention to, facilitating correspondents of VNA in the province and providing official news sources to press agencies.
