Leaders of Provincial People's Committee receive Embassy of Poland in Vietnam
(BNP) - In the morning of January 23, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan received and worked with a delegation of the Embassy of Poland in Vietnam led by Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Wojciech Gerwel.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan introduced an overview of geographical, historical and cultural location as well as outstanding achievements in the province’s socio-economic development in recent years. Particularly, Bac Ninh has a fast and strong growth rate with many leading indicators nationwide. Currently, Bac Ninh attracts nearly 1,700 FDI enterprises with many corporations and large enterprises from 37 countries and territories.
On the other hand, Bac Ninh province of today has many strengths for developing cultural spiritual tourism thanks to the depth in culture and history with nearly 2,000 historical relics, including more than 200 National relics, 13 National treasures and 4 special National relics.
Mr. Tuan hoped that the Ambassador and the Delegation would actively promote the image of Bac Ninh's people to Poland as well as supported Dong Ho folk paintings.
Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Wojciech Gerwel and the Delegation will become a bridge to connect and introduce Polish businesses to learn and invest in the province, thereby, strengthening the relationship between the two countries in general and between Poland and Bac Ninh province in particular in the coming time, added Tuan.
Thanks for the solemn reception of the provincial leaders, Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Wojciech Gerwel stressed that Bac Ninh is a province with great potential to attract businesses to invest in long-term. He believed that in the coming time, there will be many Polish enterprises to invest in Bac Ninh. He also pledged to act as a bridge to introduce the culture, people, relics, history, and landscapes of Bac Ninh province to the Polish as well as promote activities to investment cooperation promotion activities between Polish and Bac Ninh enterprises.
As the Lunar New Year is coming, Ambassador Wojciech Gerwel wished Bac Ninh’s leaders and people a new year of success, happiness and prosperity.
Previously, the Delegation visited the special national historical relic of Do temple (Dinh Bang Ward, Tu Son Town) and Phat Tich Pagoda (Phat Tich Commune, Tien Du district).
