Planting more than 60,000 trees on national highways and provincial roads

(BNP) - The Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 340/QD-UBND on approving the project of planting trees on national highways and provincial roads in the province.

Accordingly, 60,350 trees of all kinds are planted on a number of national highways and provincial roads, including:National Highway 18 (section through Hoa Tien commune, Dong Phong commune, Yen Phong district), National Highway 18 (section through Cach Bi commune, Ngoc commune). Xa, Que Vo district); National Highway 17 (section through Ho town, Dai Bai commune, Gia Binh district); new provincial road 276 (section through Cho town, Yen Phong district and Noi Due commune, Tien Du district); Provincial road 281 (section through Nghia Dao commune, Thuan Thanh district); Provincial road 287 (section through Hoan Son commune, Tien Du district) and Provincial road 295 (section through Tam Son ward, Tu Son town).

The project of planting trees on national highways and provincial roads in the province is invested by the Bac Ninh Forest Protection Division (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) with a total cost of nearly VND 9.5 billion. The implementation period is in 02 years (2021 - 2022).
