(BNP) - On March 5, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies received and worked with CMC Corporation (Corporation) led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors/Executive Chairman of the Corporation.

Founded in 1993, CMC has established its position in the Vietnamese market and in many countries around the world through its core businesses in four divisions: Technology & Solution, Telecommunications, Global Business, and Research & Education, with eight subsidiaries, joint ventures, and research institutes.

In the 2021-2025 period, CMC aims to become a Global Digital Corporation of international standing, a leading consultant and implementer of digital transformation solutions for businesses and organizations, with revenue of one billion USD and a workforce of over 10,000 employees.

At the meeting, Mr. Chinh hoped Bac Ninh leaders would pay attention and create conditions to implement the project of CMC Creative Space in Bac Ninh (CCS Bac Ninh) with functional subdivisions: information technology and software production; R&D, IC design, AI, innovation, and entrepreneurship; data infrastructure and cloud computing, AI factory; education and training subdivision; smart urban... with a scale of 20 hectares or more.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan stressed that this is an area in which Bac Ninh is interested in investment attraction to effectively implement the province's digital transformation goals. At the same time, he affirmed that Corporation’s selection of Bac Ninh as an investment destination is consistent with both the province's future development goal and the Corporation’s production and commercial strategies.

Tuan hoped that the Corporation would pay attention, share, and support training to provide high-quality human resources for businesses in the province, serving the province’s socio-economic development as well as consultee and give suggestions in implementing the construction of a large-scale, convenient, and smart information technology park.

Regarding the Corporation’s proposal, the Secretary agreed with the approach of the Education and Training subdivision as the main subdivision in the CCS Bac Ninh. On that basis, he assigned the Department of Construction to review educational land funds with an area of 20 hectares or more. He also asked the Department of Information and Communications to work with the Group in the field of digital transformation in all aspects of the province to serve the building of digital government.
