Preservation and development of traditional craft villages in Bac Ninh province

The project’s objective aims to preserve and promote traditional values of craft villages, promote production development, create jobs, increase incomes for people, and contribute to the rural socio-economic development, meeting the requirements of environmental protection. Striving to 2030, more 7 traditional occupations, 11 craft villages and 16 traditional craft villages wil be recognized by the Provincial People's Committee; 5 shops will be completed to introduce and sell products of craft villages in tourist attractions of the province…

To focus on investing in building projects on conservation and development of craft villages; build shops to introduce and sell products of craft villages in tourist attractions of the provinc; planning of production zones, industrial clusters of craft villages and planning of infrastructure construction associated with craft village tourist spots; strengthen the application of advanced science and technology to protect the environment of craft villages; promote product consumption, trade promotion, building brands, trademarks, improving designs, perfecting products of craft villages and traditional crafts...

To speed up the propaganda of undertakings and policies of the Party and State as well as the province on the development of craft villages and traditional crafts; propagate and promote traditional crafts in the province through the mass media, publication of publications, training conferences... to raise awareness for all levels of sectors, organizations and individuals.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to work with the departments, branches and localities in organizing the effective implementation of the project.
