(BNP) - On December 23, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and Delegation of National Assembly Deputies led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, congratulated the Bac Ninh Bishop’s Palace on the occasion of Christmas 2024.

Also joining the delegation were Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee including Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Mrs. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan wished a peaceful and happy Christmas to Bishop Do Quang Khang, Bishop of Bac Ninh Diocese, Chairman of the Clergy - Seminarians Committee under the Vietnam Bishops’ Council for the 2022 - 2025 term, along with priests, religious and all Catholics of Bac Ninh Diocese. At the same time, he acknowledged the important contributions and thanked the Bishop and Catholic dignitaries for their sharing, companionship and coordination in encouraging Catholics to carry out patriotic emulation movements well, make positive contributions to the socio-economic, cultural and educational development, and ensure national defense and security in the province.
In addition, the Secretary hoped that the Bishop, priests and monks would continue to promote their roles, encourage parishioners to live “good lives, good religions”, practice religious beliefs in accordance with the law, unite with all classes of people to effectively carry out patriotic emulation movements, and actively contribute to the province’s socio-economic development.
Bishop Do Quang Khang sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for their attention to the religious activities of Catholics in the province in recent times. At the same time, he affirmed that in his position, he would continue to propagate and mobilize Catholic dignitaries and parishioners to well implement the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s policies and laws, and fulfill their civic duties, thus contributing to the development of Bac Ninh province and the building of an increasingly strong national solidarity bloc.
