Provincial leaders meet woman leaders under management of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee

(BNP) - On the occasion of the 91st anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 1930 - 2021), the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women on October 19 held a meeting with those who are the woman leaders under management of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee.

Participants at the meeting were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Dao Hong Lan; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women Vuong Quoc Tuan; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the Provincial Permanent People's Council, People's Committee Fatherland Front Committee and Delegation of National Assembly; leaders of relevant branches, sectors and those who are the woman leaders under management of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee.

Currently, the province has 46 comrades who are female cadres under the management of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, among which, 3 comrades are in the Provincial Standing Party Committee, 01 comrade is the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, 01 comrade is the Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, 01 comrade is the Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the meeting, Chung sent his best wishes to the women leaders as well as all women officers and members in the province on Vietnam Women's Day. At the same time, he hoped women leaders to go on promoting the good traditions of Vietnamese women, building a warm and happy family. He also desired them to unite and follow the political mission of the province, to promote the movement of patriotic emulation for successfully fulfilling the set goals.

Highly appreciating women officers’ contributions in socio-economic development of the province, especially in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country, Chung asked affirmed that the province would continue to pay attention to the work of women cadres, creating the most favorable environment and conditions for them to devote, work, promote their capacity and strengths as well as fulfill their duties set out, thereby affirming the position and role of women in the family and society.
