Provincial People's Committee discusses plan of foreign policy and investment, trade and tourism promotion

At the meeting, leaders of functional departments and branches suggested that the development of the Plan should closely follow the general planning of the province to orient investment attraction in the coming time; promote the image, investment environment, natural conditions, culture and people of Bac Ninh through information technology applications; innovate investment promotion methods; strengthen coordination with Embassies to attract large European and Asian investors; advertise the image of the province’s agricultural sector and typical OCOP products ; promote investment attraction in urban areas, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman Tuan assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to absorb the opinions of the participants and complete the plan of foreign affairs and investment, trade and tourism before March 15.

The Department of Planning and Investment, Office of the Provincial People's Committee works with foreign organizations and business associations in Vietnam and enable online with Vietnamese Ambassadors in other countries to organize investment promotion conferences with Korea, Japan, USA, China, Germany and Europe.

The Department of Industry and Trade speed up the  construction progress of a wholesale agricultural product market in Thuan Thanh; set up specialized quarters and streets; make criteria for improving the efficiency of industrial clusters; strengthen the attraction and development of the commercial sector in the localities.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development focuses on completing the "Legend of the River" project for the agricultural sector; set up integrated slaughterhouses and large specialized agricultural zones in the province.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism establish a men's soccer team in Bac Ninh province to attract sponsors and promote cultural, sports and tourism activities.
