Xuan Hoi Knitted Rattan and Bamboo

Bamboo and rattan craft Xuan Hoi has a traditional history for generations. According to records, before the August Revolution in 1945, the people here had knitting profession from all kinds of rattan, bamboo, to produce various kinds of fan, flower, teapot and flower vase, tea cup trays..

Today, along with the development of the society, Xuan Hoi bamboo and rattan products are diversified with the following items: flower baskets, bamboo baskets, bamboo trays, bamboo lamps, flower pots,… not only consumption in the country but also exported to the following countries: Japan, Korea, Taiwan, America, Russia.

Xuan Hoi hamlet’s Artans has achieved many achievements in the working process and production, such as: Honoring Tinh Hoa handicraft products village Degree in 2015, Golden hand Cup of traditional Vietnamese trade village, Entrepreneur/Entrepreneur title Vietnamese followed Uncle Ho Title in 2014, many certificates of merit from Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.

With the desire to preserve and sustainably develop the traditional bamboo and rattan craft of Xuan Hoi craft village. In 2017, the Party Committee and the Authority of Lac Ve commune assigned the Commune Farmers Association to build and register collective trademarks of craft village. On June 18, 2018, the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology) issued Decision No.41902/QD-SHTT to issue the Certificate of Collective Trademark “May tre dan Xuan Hoi”.

Xuan Hoi craft village is prospering, developing strong contributing a considerable part to the general economic development of the locality.
