“2023 Full Moon Festival – Giving wings to dream”

(BNP) – On September 27 (i.e. the 13th day of the 8th lunar month), Provincial Youth Union, Department of Education and Training, and Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs jointly organized the “2023 Full Moon Festival – Giving wings to dream” for the province’s children at Kinh Bac Cultural Center.


The provincial leaders present gifts to the children in difficult circumstances having excellent academic achievements.

Participants in the Festival were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of Party Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Ta Dang Doan, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of Bac Ninh City Party Committee; leaders of provincial departments, sectors, unions and districts, towns, cities as well as a large number of children and people in the province.

With the theme “Giving wings to dream”, the 2023 Full Moon Festival is a special gift for the children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival. The children in the province were immersed themselves in the bustling atmosphere of the Full Moon Festival with many featured, entertaining, cultural and artistic activities such as Lion dance, August lantern procession, dancing, dance sport, martial art and magic shows performed by the Art Team of Provincial Children’s Activity Center.

The Full Moon Festival of Bac Ninh province has been held for 15 years, raising the attention of Party committees, authorities at all levels, and society to the protection, care, and education of children and adolescents. The Festival also encourages and motivates the children to study and practice. At the same time, it creates a useful playground for the children to grow and become good children, excellent students, and grandchildren of Uncle Ho.

On this occasion, 80 gift sets of the province and sponsor are presented to the children in difficult circumstances striving to have many excellent academic achievements.
