Survey of Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics in Bac Ninh province reaching level 1 standard

(BNP) - On November 13, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics led by Mr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the Academy, surveyed Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics (School) in Bac Ninh province to meet level 1 standard.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council; leaders of the provincial departments and sectors, and Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics.

Reporting on the results of building the school to meet level 1 standard, Mr. Tran Van Vung, Principal of the school, said that through self-assessment, the school has currently met 6/6 criteria, with 55/55 targets according to Regulation 11-QD/TW dated May 19, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat on standard political schools.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huong Giang affirmed that over the years, the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Standing Committee has always paid attention to training and fostering the school’s cadres.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee has issued many documents directing the school to perform well its assigned functions and tasks. In the coming time, the Committee will order the school for training programs. Regarding facilities, the province has invested nearly VND 200 billion to build a block of classrooms combined with a hall, library and student accommodation for the school; upgrade the principal’s house, offices of staff and lecturers. Currently, the school is considered one of the political schools with modern facilities in the country.

Discussing at the conference, the delegation assessed and analyzed the level of achievement of each criterion according to Regulation No. 11; agreed to recognize Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics as meeting level 1 standard. At the same time, they proposed that in the coming time, the school would continue to maintain level 1 standard, improve criteria to soon reach level 2 standard, contributing to better performing assigned functions and tasks.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Director Hoang Phuc Lam emphasized that through research and survey, it can be affirmed that Nguyen Van Cu School of Politics met all the conditions to meet level 1 standard, with 6 groups of criteria and 55 targets, all of which the school has met and exceeded.
