“National Librarian Festival of promoting reading culture and introducing books” takes place in March 2025

Propaganda and introduction of books with the theme "Dien Bien - The heroic epic echoes forever" at the Book and Reading Culture Festival of Bac Ninh province in 2024.

The festival was attended by 40 delegations, including over 1,200 librarians from 63 provinces/cities and military libraries across the country. During the festival, each delegation passed through four stages: Introducing the team; Introducing books; Introducing a new initiative/model that is effective in fostering a reading culture and promoting lifelong learning in the community, agency, and unit; Talent.

Within the framework of the Festival, the Organizing Committee will arrange art books; display and exhibit books, newspapers, and documents on the 50th Anniversary of the Central Highlands Campaign and the Great Spring Victory of 1975 (April 30, 1975 - 2025), on the cause of innovation and development after the liberation of the South and national reunification, and some images of activities to develop reading culture and serve lifelong learning of libraries across the country.

The festival is expected to take place in March 2025, at the Dak Lak Provincial Cultural Center, Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province.

The festival is one of the important activities of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Central Highlands Campaign and the Great Spring Victory of 1975 (April 30, 1975 - 2025) with an aiming to introduce and disseminate documents, books and newspapers about the Central Highlands Campaign - the beginning of the General Offensive and Uprising in the whole South, about the Great Spring Victory of 1975 liberating the South and unifying the country, thereby, contributing to propagating and educating all classes of people, especially the young generation about the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary struggle, arousing love for the homeland, country, national pride, aspiration to contribute, build a strong, prosperous, developed country and enter a new era, the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
