Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Vietnam
(BNP) - On the morning of February 10, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received Mr. Kohdayar Marri, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Vietnam.

Mr. Le Xuan Loi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Kohdayar Marri stated that since taking up his duties in Vietnam, he has actively promoted Pakistan-Vietnam cooperation, especially in the cultural field, contributing to enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Vietnam expressed his desire to find cooperation and business opportunities for Pakistani enterprises in Vietnam in general, and Bac Ninh province in particular. He also stated that the Pakistani Embassy is currently arranging and assigning a delegation of Pakistani enterprises to work in Vietnam, from which they will travel to visit and work with Bac Ninh province. As a result, they work together to boost the countries' growing diplomatic and trade relations.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan warmly welcomed Mr. Kohdayar Marri to Bac Ninh province, highlighting that he is the first foreign guest to visit, work, and experience Bac Ninh culture during the New Year.

The Chairman announced some achievements of the province in 2024. Specifically, the province's economic scale ranked 9th in the country; the province's industrial park land area was the largest in the North; the population growth rate ranked 2nd in the country... Besides, Bac Ninh province also developed culture through owning a massive system of historical relics, craft villages, and traditional festivals.

The Chairman hoped that Bac Ninh province and the Pakistan Embassy in Vietnam would engage in more exchange and meeting activities to explore cooperation and investment opportunities for both sides' businesses, thereby contributing to the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. At the same time, the Ambassador would connect cultural activities between Pakistan and Bac Ninh. In particular, he would pay attention and support so that the Dong Ho folk painting craft of Bac Ninh province will soon be recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage in need of urgent protection of humanity.
