6th Congress of Provincial Youth Federation takes place successfully
(BNP) - On September 26, a solemn session of the 6th Congress of the Provincial Youth Federation, term 2024 - 2029 took place at the Bac Ninh City Sports and Culture Center.

Participants at the congress were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth and Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee; representatives from the provincial departments, branches and sectors, districts, towns and cities as well as 220 outstanding young people representing more than 300,000 young people in the province.
In the 2019-2024 term, the Provincial Youth Federation has closely followed the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Youth Federation. It concretized the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Provincial Youth Federation into specific, practical, creative activities and movements.
During the past term, 100% of cadres, members, and 81% of young people in the organization studied and thoroughly understood the Directives and Resolutions of the Party and the Youth Union. They organized, visited, and presented thousands of gifts to young people, children, and those in difficult circumstances; supported the construction of 95 new Charity Houses, repaired 316 houses for people in difficult circumstances and policy families with a total amount of VND 8.7 billion. They also organized medical examinations and provided free medicine to more than 27,000 poor people, those in difficult circumstances, and policy families; planted thousands of new trees of all kinds. At the same time, 126 youth volunteer teams participated in maintaining traffic order and safety featuring thousands of young union members.
With the slogan of Bac Ninh Youth “Solidarity - Volunteerism - Creativity - Integration - Development” for the 2024-2029 term, the Provincial Youth Federation continues to build a strong Bac Ninh Youth Federation, gathering and uniting a wide range of youth, promoting the spirit of pioneering, volunteerism, creativity, awakening the young people’s aspirations to build a comprehensive and sustainable development of the hometown.
The Congress elected the Provincial Youth Federation Committee, 6th tenure, consisting of 45 members; elected 13 official delegates and 03 alternate ones to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation, term 2024 - 2029. It also elected 05 comrades to the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Youth Federation, 6th tenure, term 2024 - 2029. Comrade Nguyen Bao Dai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Provincial Youth Federation, 5th tenure, was trusted to be re-elected as President of the Provincial Youth Federation, 6th tenure, term 2024 - 2029.
Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan and Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Federation Nguyen Tuong Lam praised and congratulated the achievements that the Provincial Youth Federation had achieved in the past term, contributing positively to the province’s overall development.
At the Congress, the Provincial Party Executive Committee presented the banner “Solidarity - Volunteerism - Creativity - Integration - Development” to the Provincial Youth Federation. Many groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Federation and youth movements for the 2019-2024 term were commended by the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Provincial Youth Union.
