70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call for patriotic emulation

Central and provincial leaders present flowers to outstanding collectives and individuals

Recalling over the past seven decades of carrying out President Ho Chi Minh’s Appeal for Patriotic Emulation, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien emphasized that along with national development, civil servants and people at all levels of Bac Ninh province promoted the traditions of culture and revolutionary, heightened the solidarity, unity and made great dedications to the cause of national liberation, unification, the development and protection of the country. Since the renovation period (Đổi mới), especially after more than 20 years of reestablishment, pursuant to the patriotic appeal of President Ho Chi Minh, Bac Ninh has achieved important achievements, becoming an industrial province, maintaining a dynamic and comprehensive development in various fields with many leading socio-economic nationwide.

Besides, Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien affirmed that the 70^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation deserves an important political event of the entire Party, government and people in the province to concentrate and honor the emulative heroes, fighters, and the most typical, advanced models in the patriotic emulation movements in the past time. It has contributed to creating a spill in the social community, promoting good practices, replicating the role models, and devoting to the overall socio-economic development of the province. In order to successfully complete the set political tasks, the Secretary requested all levels, branches, and localities to go on speeding up the patriotic emulation tradition, solidarity, self-reliance, overcoming difficulties, creating motivation for development, striving to build Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city by 2022.

Outstanding examples join the exchange session at the anniversary

Launching the patriotic emulation movement, in his remarks, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh outlined remarkable achievements in several main fields in recent years, meanwhile affirmed that these gained achievements are thanks to the active contribution of patriotic emulation movements to the successful implementation of political and socio-economic development tasks. The Chairman expressed his appreciation, admiration and excitement to typical individuals, collectives for their unremitting efforts with many noble and hard works, which contribute to the cause of development of the province.

The Chairman of Provincial People's Committee called on all levels, branches, agencies, units, enterprises, Party members, armed forces and people to increase solidarity, to emulate and overcome shortcomings and challenges, which aim at building Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city by 2022, creating a new mark in the development process.

An art performance to welcome the anniversary

To acknowledge and praise remarkable advanced models on the occasion of the 70^th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Appeal for the Patriotic Emulation, Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 13 collectives and 57 individuals in the fields of production, business, studying and working in cultural and artistic sectors, social charity activists.
