9th Congress of Vietnam Youth Federation officially opens
(BNP) - From December 16-18, the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 term took place in Hanoi with the participation of 980 delegates representing more than 22 million youth union members at home and abroad.

Attending the Congress, the Bac Ninh provincial delegation was honored to have 14 delegates representing more than 300,000 young people in the province. The Bac Ninh delegation is determined to promote all the enthusiasm and bravery of the province's youth to contribute to the Congress’s overall success.
The Congress is an important political event, a day of solidarity for patriotic Vietnamese youth, marking a new step in the development of the organization and youth movement.
During the two days (December 17-18), delegates participated in the Congress's agenda sessions. The focus will be on summarizing and evaluating the work of the association and the youth movement for the 2019-2024 term; developing goals, tasks, and solutions for the association and the youth movement for the 9th term (2024-2029); reporting on the amendment and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Youth Federation; and consulting on the election of the Vietnam Youth Federation and the Central Inspection Committee of the 9th term.
Delegates were divided into 6 groups to discuss the following topics: patriotism; conserving and upholding national cultural identity; learning, creativity, and entrepreneurship; volunteering for the community; solidarity, integration, and development; and building a strong Vietnam Youth Federation.
