Amateur art festival for workers, officials, and laborers of Bac Ninh province in 2023 takes place

Attending the festival were Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate member of Central Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of relevant departments, sectors, districts, towns, cities and a large number of trade union members, workers, officials, and laborers in the province.

With the theme “Cultural Festival of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Bac Ninh-Kinh Bac hometown”, the Festival attracted nearly 1,000 actors and musicians from 20 amateur art troupes of trade unions at all levels, affiliated, sector and grassroots trade unions in the province.

Each unit performed a general art program with a duration of no more than 30 minutes including solo, duet, group singing, dance, instrumental recital, skit, short play, and tableau… The content focused on praising the glorious Party, great Uncle Ho, and appreciating the homeland, the country and the tradition of working class and Vietnam Trade union organization. At the same time, it aimed to celebrate the revolutionary tradition, love of labor and life associated with the honor, preservation and promotion of cultural values in regions and ethnic groups.

The Festival was a part of activities series to celebrate the success of 17^th Provincial Trade Union Congress, meeting the needs of enjoying cultural and spiritual life of the workers, officials, and laborers. This was also an opportunity for the workers, officials, and laborers in the province to have a playground to exchange, learn, promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, and boost patriotic emulation movements.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to Labor Federation of Tu Son city; 03 Second Prizes to Labor Federation of Yen Phong district, Thuan Thanh and Que Vo towns; and Third Prizes to Trade Unions of Provincial Officials, Health Sector, Samsung Display, Samsung Electronics Vietnam and Foster. In addition, the Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals were awarded to each category and performance.
