Bac Ninh athlete wins gold medal at the 5th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2019
(BNP) - From December 25 - 30, 2019 in Yanji, China took place the 5th Asian Pencak Silat Championship 2019.

The tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 9 countries and territories, participating in 2 competitions including competitive fighting and artistic performance
With 30 athletes participating in the competition, Vietnamese athletes won 12 gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze medals, among which, 2 gold medals in artistic performance, 10 gold medals in competitive fighting. Contributing to the achievement of the Vietnamese team, athlete Nguyen Duy Tuyen of the Bac Ninh Center for Training and Sports Competition won 1 gold medal in the 85 kg category.
