Bac Ninh forms Urban University to attract Higher education institutions

The investment project to build the 2^nd facility of Hanoi Law University in Tu Son city.

According to the Plan, Bac Ninh province aims to build a modern education system, ensuring equality in learning opportunities for all people, and creating conditions for talent development. At the same time, it consolidates and improves the quality of universal education at all levels, as well as prioritizes the development of Higher education institutions and high-tech vocational education centers to promote higher education development and provide high-quality human resources for Bac Ninh province and the country.

By 2030, the province strives to have over 98% of schools meeting national standards. The rate of trained workers reaches 90%, 55% among them have degrees and certificates; workers with information technology skills reach 95%...

To achieve the goals, the province will focus on developing a network of public education and training institutions to meet the learning needs of the people, and ensuring classrooms for students at all levels that meet prescribed standards. It also ensures land funds for expansion and new construction of educational infrastructure at all levels. At the same time, the province continues to arrange preschool and general education facilities to adapt to the needs and actual conditions of localities; and establish school facilities in urban and housing areas according to regulations.

On the other hand, the authority invests in expanding, renovating and upgrading educational infrastructure at all levels, specialized educational facilities for people with disabilities and centers to support the development of inclusive education following standards. It further socializes investment and development of non-public education and training establishments, especially preschool education establishments in industrial parks, industrial clusters and foreign-invested schools.

The competent agencies form the 1^st Science and Technology Application Research Training Area (University Urban Area I) in Bac Ninh city and Tien Du district; the 2^nd Science and Technology Application Research Training Area (University Urban Area II) in Tien Du district to attract Higher education institutions. At the same time, they invest in building and converting Bac Ninh Teacher Training College into a multidisciplinary College to train highly qualified human resources to meet development and integration requirements.

02 concentrated science and technology research zones will be developed in Gia Binh district to meet the needs of teaching and learning, research, application, science and technology transfer, and innovation in Bac Ninh province and neighboring provinces.

For vocational education infrastructure development, the province focuses on consolidating and perfecting the network of vocational education institutions to meet the requirements of training on-site human resources for industrial zones and clusters. At the same time, it maintains and strengthens the operations of 03 provincial-level centers (02 Continuing Education Centers, 01 Provincial-level Vocational and Continuing Education Center), and 05 Vocational and Continuing Education Centers at the district level.
