Bac Ninh Power Company responds to Earth Hour Campaign 2024
(BNP) - The Earth Hour is an initiative of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to raise public awareness about climate change and energy savings worldwide. On Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the lights will be turned off for one hour in observance of Earth Hour.
The staff of Bac Ninh Power Company directly propagate and advise customers to apply solutions to use electricity economically and effectively.
Responding to the Earth Hour Campaign in 2024, Bac Ninh Power Company has posted propaganda content about saving electricity and protecting the environment in response to the Campaign through images, videos, websites, Facebook, Zalo, customer transaction locations and the headquarters of units, etc.
The Company thoroughly ensures that all affiliated units, officials, employees and workers implement all solutions to ensure electricity supply and thoroughly implement electricity saving solutions at units, families and customers managed by the unit. It directly propagates, advises, supports and encourages customers to apply innovative, highly effective solutions to using electricity safely, economically and effectively.
Bac Ninh Power Company also launched all employees and customers to participate in the online contest "Learn knowledge about economical and efficient use of energy" in response to the Earth Hour Campaign in 2024. The contest is organized from March 16, 2024 - March 31, 2024 at https://tietkiemnangluong.com.vn/.
In particular, organizations, agencies and customers are encouraged to turn off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment during Earth Hour from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2024. At the Company's headquarters, production operators of units under Bac Ninh Power Company will turn off unnecessary electrical equipment during the above time.
