Bac Ninh Tourism - Food Fair in 2019 opens

(BNP) – In the evening of October 25th, the Department of Planning and Investment held the opening ceremony of Bac Ninh Tourism - Food Fair in 2019 at the Provincial Library. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended and cut the ribbon to open the Fair.

This is the first time Bac Ninh Tourism - Food Fair 2019 has held in Bac Ninh. It is one of practical activities with an aim to implementing of the goals of local tourism development as well as facilitating convenience for activities connecting tourism development of Bac Ninh with provinces in the Red River Delta and the whole country. This is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the image of Bac Ninh to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.

The Fair attracted 93 stalls to display typical cultural products, famous cuisine of Bac Ninh and regions across the country, among which, 38 stalls of Bac Ninh and 55 stalls of provinces and cities such as Tẻ cake of Cho village, “Phu thê” cake of Dinh Bang (Bac Ninh), Tea of Thai Nguyen, shiitake mushrooms, chopped seeds (Dien Bien) ... Besides, the Fair also displayed traditional handicraft products as Chu Dau pottery, rattan of Xuan Lai, Dai Bai bronze casting... and introduced tours, routes, tourist destinations of Bac Ninh and provinces of the Red River Delta.

In the days of the festival, there are tourism promotion activities between localities, performances of cultural heritage of regions to serve visitors ...thereby, attracting thousands of people and tourists visit the cultural products and cuisine of Bac Ninh – Kinh Bac homeland.
